He has owned and operated a sailboat tooling and production company, and has been a part of Mahina for 10 years. Dave is still an active sailor and currently lives aboard a classic wooden motor yacht.

Jack Bateman was taught to sail by his father at the age of 15, and he has been on and around boats, the sea and ships most of his life. A merchant seaman for fifteen years, he's been around the world twice on oil tankers, and has the sea stories to prove it. Jack lives on his custom 34' sailboat that he purchased from Mahina Yachts before going to work for us. Mahina Yachts found Jack the boat of his dreams, and he's eager to help you find yours.
